The Bassac are three elegant classic river cabin cruisers entirely built of wood. They depart at noon and arrive the next day by mid-morning at their destination, and the services include full board, and typically two visits per night spent on board.

Between Cái Bè and Cần Thơ, the visit takes you to the heart of the rice-producing area of the delta, with the option to take a guided walking tour or a short cycling promenade before stooping at a farm for a cup of tea, some fruit and local specialities,

The Bassac roam the Mekong Delta, in Vietnam. Their main ports of call are Cần Thơ and Cái Bè, but also all the way to the frontier in Cambodia, and from the Gulf of Thailand to Saigon.

Most of our itineraries open for joining in are between Cần Thơ and Cái Bè, halfway to Saigon. If you need more than one cabin, be sure to book cabins along the same itinerary: Cai Be - Can Tho is a different itinerary from Can Tho - Cai Be.

Be sure not to mix if all your party is to go on the same boat.
